YBBW, the youth and training division of multiple Belgian and European Champion Brass Band Willebroek and the orchestra of the Academy for Music and Drama of Willebroek, is looking for motivated, young musicians. We are in search of ambitious brass players and/or percussionists, under the age of 22, for the following instruments:
- Soprano cornet
- Cornet
- Flugelhorn
- Eb Bas
- Bb Bas
- Percussion
European Youth Brass Band Contest
In 2015, the European Brass Band Association, in light of the European Brass Band Chamionships, will be organizing a contest for youth orchestras in Freiburg, Germany. YBBW would like to participate in this contest and is therefore looking to expand the orchestra with talented, young musicians. Our brass band rehearses and performs at a high level but also has room for more recreational concerts and fun activities.
