The European Brass Band Association (EBBA) has just announced the entry list for the European Soloist Competition in Lille (France). Brassband Willebroek is proud to announce that no fewer than 3 soloists from their own band are participating in this prestigious competition.
Lode Violet (Principal Cornet), Jeroen Corneillie (Soprano Cornet) & Jonas Violet (Tutti Euphonium) will give their best against the 25 other participants, in total there are 8 different nationalities.
Where & When
You can cheer on our soloists on Tuesday, April 26 from 10am in the Conservatoire de Lille, and on Wednesday, April 27 from 10am in Tourcoing. The final is on Thursday 28 April, for which three finalists will be selected. They play in the evening at 8 pm accompanied by Brass Band Nord Pas de Calais (conducted by Luc Vertommen).
