Both Brass Band Willebroek and Young Brass Band Willebroek have decided not to participate in the Flemish Open Brass Band Championships. Both bands would otherwise have to play without three of their band members. Since we find it very important to participate with all members, we feel obliged to skip this edition of the Flemish Open.
Division B
We regret the fact that the timetable of the lower section was changed and that, as an alternative, we were not granted permission to still participate with YBBW in a higher section. Nonetheless, some of our members will be in the audience as a way of supporting the Flemish Open, a wonderful initiative in the Flemish Brass Band country.
